SATELLITE THEMED ONAM CELEBRATION AT NIT TRICHY A group of Microwave people of the National Institute of Technology Trichy celebrated the Onam festival with a technical theme INDIAN REGIONAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM to honor their successful space mission activities.  A newspaper article about the celebration is here. Here is the microwave themed Athappookalam with different kind of microwave devices and antennas, done by the team-microwave at NIT Trichy for Onam celebrations . Traditional Pookalam will have 10 rings of flowers, but here they made the Pookalam with10 different types of microwave integrated circuit (MIC) devices and antennas.
