IDEA2K DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR AWARD” FOR YEAR 2017

The first International Conference on Data, Engineering and Applications 2017 (IDEA-2k17) jointly organized by Rajiv Gandhi ProudyogikiVishwavidyalaya (State Technological University) Bhopal and Sagar Institute of Research and Technology Bhopal was held on October 28-29.

Dr.S.Raghavan, Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering, N.I.T.,Trichy was selected(among several nominations received across the country) for the ‘First IDEA2K DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR AWARD ‘for the year 2017.The award is based on the qualification from National Institute of Repute, contribution in teaching and research, number of Ph.D.sguided, number of SCI Indexed journal papers, number of IEEE/Springer/ACM/Elsevier conferences , conferences organized and the number of professional society memberships.Prof.SunilKumar , Vice chancellor, Bhopal State Technical University of M.P. and PadmashriProf.SankarK.Pal Distinguished Scientist and former Director of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata presented the award to Ptof.S.Raghavan in the presence of galaxy of Eminent Professors, V.C.s, Scientists and delegates.

The conference was supported by Springer, Computer Society of India(C.S.I.), Directorate of Technical Education(M.P.),Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), IEEE MP Section and ACM Bhopal and M.P.Council of Science &Technology (MPCST).
