What mistake did Anitha do? Was that she studied very well, covered the full syllabus and scored top marks? She died due to unconfirmed promises given from men of all walks! There was an uncertainty whether the NEET exam will be there for Tamilnadu students! Top scorer of the state was made a scape goat! Next year also two innocent lives were lost! All in Tamilnadu? Why? How to avoid such untimely deaths?

No other states are opposing the NEET! Why? In Tamilnadu, the syllabus of school final studies is to be revamped. Politics should be set aside! The syllabus if updated to suit the NEET standard, out state students will outnumber the MEDICO statistics in the country. Why North Indians fare better in IAS, IPS exams. Because of their school standard syllabus, awareness and dedication in the preparation for the entrance exams.

When exams like GRE. TOEFL, IELTS etc. are globally standardized, why not a uniform syllabus throughout India. Should the students not start giving more weightage to the schools rather than money squeezing commercial coaching centres? When school final total alone was the criteria to get MEDICAL and ENGINEERING seats in TAMILNADY, every teacher in the school got respect; every poor student who puts hard work will see his/her dream come true. It is high time the Tamilnadu Government revamp (At war footing) the syllabus to the national level (NEET, JEE, IISERIIST, AIIMS etc.). Cant the poor student (who find difficult to pay the school fees even) dream of becoming a doctor. Even if he sells all the parents property including the ‘MANGALYA SUTRA’ of mother, the exorbitant fees of commercial coaching centre cannot be paid. The education department of Tamilnadu is taking few bold steps and why not update the syllabus so that the government high school student with the knowledge acquired in the school compete nationally! The only solution to make the unreachable reach Professional Medical course is to raise the level of the +1 and +2 school syllabus so as to crack the NEET without going to commercial coaching centre. The worst part is, I myself know that few coaching centres approach the winner of NEET to give it in writing that the NEET VICTORY is due to joining in their institute (They are paid few thousands to tell this lie).There are students who go to the coaching centres and do not go to regular schools but manage to get false certificates! The only solution to see ‘KUPPAN and SUBBAN’ enter medical college is to completely standardize the school syllabus and make them ready to face the NEET confidently without going to the coaching centres! Will the authorities look into without shedding crocodile tears after the untimely deaths of INNOCENTS!
