WORKSHOP ON PRESERVING INDIGENOUS WISDOM: PALM LEAF MANUSCRIPT

The Holy Cross College in Tiruchirappalli recently organized a successful workshop titled Preserving Indigenous Wisdom: Palm Leaf Manuscripts. The session was led by Prof. Dr. S. Raghavan (Retd.), former professor in the Department of ECE and the overall library coordinator at the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. Prof. Dr. S. Raghavan provided an in-depth explanation of the techniques involved in preserving palm leaf manuscripts, as well as methods for digitizing and collecting data related to these valuable texts.
