The Certificate in Library and Information Science (CLISc) is a short-term professional course aimed at providing foundational knowledge and skills for those pursuing careers in libraries and information management. It is designed to help individuals understand the basics of library management and information organization.

The CLISc certificate distribution event was held at National College Tiruchirappalli on 13th March 2025, where Prof. Dr. S. Raghavan (Retd.), former professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and ex-library coordinator at the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, was invited as a guest. He praised the students for their achievements during the event.

Professor Dr. R. Balasubramani, from the Department of Library and Information Science at Bharathidasan University, was invited as the chief guest for the event. The Secretary, Mr. K. Ragunathan, and the Coordinator, Dr. T. Suresh Kumar, also took part in the occasion.
