FORMER NIT - TRICHY PROFESSR SELECTED FOR IETE MAIN AWARD

It gives us great pleasure to share that Prof. Dr. S. Raghavan of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, has been chosen for the prestigious R. S. Khandpur Award 2025 by the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). This honor recognizes his outstanding contributions to theoretical and applied research, medical engineering, and the integration of microwave technology with biomedical diagnostics. The award will be formally presented during the upcoming IETE convention in Chandigarh later this year, as confirmed in an official communication from NIT Trichy.

2.14 IETE - R S Khandpur Award (2025) This award has been instituted through a donation made by Dr R S Khandpur, Fellow of IETE. The award is given to a person for his/her lifetime achievements and outstanding contribution at national / international level in the field of ‘Medical Instrumentation’ covering education, research, design, development and production. The award consists of a medal and a citation. The recipient is invited to deliver a lecture on the work leading to the award on suitable occasion at the IETE Centre nearest to the location of awardee.
